Is Housing Optional?

The National Housing Strategy Act (NHSA)[link] says it's a fundamental human right, yet there are currently 250,000 Canadians[source] (and increasing) still experiencing homelessness each year, despite the excesses of our ever-wealthier, supposedly-idyllic socialist nation.

As robotics and artificial intelligence continue to chip away at jobs for humans, Canadians will increasingly need advanced degrees and trade certifications to get the jobs of the future - or they many find themselves unemployable in a world of exploding inflation and unaffordable rent...
