How to Help by...
Running for Office

We are actively looking for ethical, passionate Canadians to run for office in electoral districts across Canada in support of the Revolution Party of Canada's Platform and the Manifesto of Human Needs.

1. Check Your Eligibility

We welcome and encourage all Canadians to participate in the democratic process; anything less is not truly a free democracy.

To qualify to run for political office as a candidate of the Revolution Party of Canada, applicants must:

  1. Be a Canadian citizen

  2. Be 18 years of age or older

  3. Support the values of the Manifesto of Human Needs

  4. Agree to act according to the Revolution Party of Canada's:

    1. Constitution

    2. By-Laws

    3. Platform

    4. Policies

2. Register Your Candidacy

The path to utopia is exhausting, thankless, and unending. To say we have an uphill battle ahead of us, full of disappointments and setbacks, would be a major understatement.

Are you the kind of person that thinks that equitable outcomes are worth the effort? Do you get inspired by failure after failure and roadblock after roadblock?

The Revolution Party of Canada is seeking passionate Canadians to put the needs of their fellow citizens ahead of their own in electoral districts across Canada. No prior political, legal, business, or other professional experience is required.

The link to register your candidacy is at the bottom of this page.

3. Run Your Campaign

Unlike the capitalist-funded political parties, the Revolution Party of Canada relies heavily on self-directed organization and grassroots funding to campaign.

This is intentional, included in the RPC Constitution, and done for two main reasons:

  1. To limit influence by corporations and wealthy individuals

  2. To reduce internal influence of individuals within the RPC itself

This means that RPC candidates have much more work to do than candidates for other Canadian political parties

The RPC will provide its candidates with educational resources on fundraising and campaigning, as well as on-the-job training for successfully elected candidates.

4. Fight Hard for Society's Needs

Make no mistake, the hardest part begins when you're elected to office.

Canadians expect nothing less than revolutionary ideas, policies, and action from our party. This means acting with urgency and tenacity in everything we do.

We're here to chew bubble gum and fight for human rights... and we're all out of bubble gum.

Ready to Run?

Have you checked your eligibility, read every relevant piece of RPC material on this website, considered the major personal sacrifices that you will likely need to make, and still want to run for office as a candidate for the Revolution Party of Canada?
