Communism is Bad*

The Revolution Party of Canada is a socialist party,

though not a communist party - and certainly not a capitalist party!

*This title of this page is intentionally phrased in a controversial manner to draw attention to the nuances that often get glossed over in mainstream media as they try to paint socialism in a bad light with broad brush strokes.

To be sure there are no misunderstandings,

we've elaborated on these complex topics below.

First, the Commonalities

The various flavours of socialism share a number of common ideals and principles, such as the desire for the end of capitalism which is choking our finite world with the demand for infinite growth...

Although we're not orthodox Marxist-Leninist[Wikipedia] or Communist[Wikipedia], we do believe in solidarity with other socialist parties.

Socialism is Better

While we don't claim that socialism is perfect, it's proven to provide better outcomes for people when compared to capitalism and psuedo-communism - both of which lead to the concentration of power into the hands of an increasingly small group of unfairly wealthy and influential few.

Let's expand on our existing globally-envied socialist healthcare system and follow the successful examples of socialist policies already enjoyed in places like Norway, Denmark, Guyana, and New Zealand.

Capitalism is failing in countries all around the world right now and modern communism has become corrupdated by power-seeking billionaires like Putin and his oligarchs. Socialist countries do better economically than capitalist countries and their citizens are happier, healthier, enjoy more personal freedoms, and even have a more stable middle class.
