Personal Statement:
I’m running with the Revolution Party of Canada because I can no longer accept mental healthcare being treated as a luxury instead of a human right. As someone deeply committed to mental health reform, I’ve seen firsthand how our current system fails those who need help most, and the devastating impacts these failures have on public safety, the economy and the personal lives of Canadians. I’m fighting to build a society where every person has access to timely, compassionate, and comprehensive care, no matter their socioeconomic level.
But mental health doesn’t exist in a vacuum. True well-being cannot exist without stable housing, healthy food, clean water, quality education, and a livable income. That’s why I’m also committed to transforming our essential public systems - healthcare, housing, social services, and beyond - so they truly serve the people and adhere to our rights under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. I stand for a government that guarantees every person’s essential needs and upholds their dignity. It’s time for radical, compassionate change, and I’m ready to fight for it.
